The exhibition was opened by the Minister of Education Mrs. Kristin Halvorsen May 27th.
Freedom is never won once and for all
“Freedom is never won once and for all” is a temporary exhibit focused on Jewish participation in and contributions to Norwegian society. Two areas in which Norwegian Jews have made a significant mark are in the cultural sphere and in the struggle against the German occupation during World War II.

European Day of Jewish Culture
The 10th edition of the European Day of Jewish Culture will be held on Sunday, September 6th 2009. The subject matter chosen for this year is 'Jewish Festivals and Traditions'.
