Jewish theater has roots dating back to the medieval tradition. Before the war, Jewish theater was a living part of Norwegian ethnic life and culture. Acts of Shakespeare and Tolstoy as Jewish dads were also played in jiddish. Special «Spiel» was common to both Purim and Chanuka.

"Joseph and his brothers", "Yosef un zayne brider" is a newly written folk comedy in the good old-fashioned "Spiel" tradition. Here are actors and dolls in many roles - a performance for the whole family.
